The 2-hour visit of Èze-Village will take you through the small streets, superbly restored stone houses, shaded squares, refreshing fountains. Èze will almost seem fake because it is so beautiful… The exotic garden will be the jewel of this visit in the middle of this theatrical setting! Strollers will appreciate the many small stores selling local crafts in the village. Finally, the two watchtowers at the entrance of the village are classified as historical monuments.

Stops of the tour

Let’s start with a visit to the Fragonnard perfume factory! It is free to visit every day and can initiate you to the manufacture of perfumes. You should know that the region is full of distilleries (industrial and artisanal). Our tour of the best perfume factories in Provence will make you discover this whole universe by passing in particular by Grasse with the International Museum of Perfumery.

To access the village, you will pass through the double fortified gate (the poterne) of the XIVth century. You can then stroll through the small paved streets which are full of history but also full of charm. Pass under the arches of the stone houses and discover the small stores and stalls. Craftsmanship is truly at the heart of Eze Village life. You will find charming shops for textiles, souvenirs, local specialties, handmade jewelry… And also small art galleries.

The visit to the Exotic Garden of Eze takes about 1 hour on its own but it is really worth it! Village is perched 400 meters from the sea. From there, you can discover more than 100 species of exotic plants. Admire the cactus and succulents that the park specializes in. Considered as a natural open-air garden, the Exotic Garden also allows you to admire the 17 sculptures of the artist Jean-Philippe Richard. The price of the visit of the Exotic Garden of Eze village is 6€ per person.

En redescendant du village, vous pourrez admirer Notre Dame de l’Assomption. Cette belle église baroque à l’intérieur a été construite au 18ème siècle. Sa magnifique couleur ocre et sa belle horloge bleu marial en font l’un des plus beaux monuments d’Eze. Les pierres nécessaires à sa construction auraient été amenées à dos d’hommes… Sachant que le village est à 400 mètres au-dessus de la mer, on ne peut qu’admirer la réalisation !
