Menton - Plage des Sablettes

Sablettes Beach

Description

The Sablettes beach in Menton is the most beautiful beach in Menton. This beach offers a view of the Italian mountains on one side and the colourful houses of Menton on the other. It is located between the two ports (the Vieux Port and the Port de Garavan) and the old town. The Sablettes beach has no sand but gravel which does not stick to the skin!

The promenade along the Quai Bonaparte has been completely redeveloped in 2019. It is now pedestrianised and there are restaurants and bars for a great atmosphere. Very pleasant!

This beach is supervised during the summer season (lifeguard station on the private beach side). There is also a beach volleyball court. Ideal with children, you can walk a long way and the slope is gentle.

Finally, a paying car park is available right next to the beach and the restaurants (paying underground car park), with disabled access.
